Who publishes this site

Best Spray Foam is an independent publication, written and run by a small team of people who work in the spray foam trade in the United States. It is not owned, funded, staffed, supplied or controlled by any manufacturer, distributor or seller of the products it covers, and no such company has a say in what is published. No legal entity has been registered for the site yet; the terms page says what will be printed when one is. The publisher also owns Spray Foam Guides, an education site about the same subject; the two share an owner and an editorial position and link to each other, and each says so where it links.

What we earn

One thing: Amazon Associates fees. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Since September 16, 2026, every link from this site to an Amazon product page carries our Associates tracking ID, whether it is a button, a row in a sizes table or a listing cited as a source, and Amazon pays the fee at no cost to the buyer. The site carries no advertising, no sponsorship and no paid placement, and Walmart, brand-store and document links are ordinary links that pay us nothing.

How you will know, and what the fee cannot change

Each section with Amazon links carries this statement beside them, and the site footer carries it on every page. Affiliate income does not change which products are covered, how they are ordered or what is said about them: the order on every page is set by documented evidence and printed with its reasons. Commission rates differ by product category and can change, so we do not pretend the fee is identical whichever product you pick. What we will do is keep the ordering rule public and mechanical, so that any effect of a rate difference would be visible in the criteria rather than hidden in a judgment.

Our position toward the brands

We have no commercial, advisory, supply or ownership relationship with any brand on this site, and we have not received free product from any of them. The ordering on these pages comes from reading what each maker publishes, and from knowing the sector well enough to know which questions to ask of it.

What backs that up is the rule the products are ordered by. Every ranked page prints each product's research score beside its position, every point in that score prints the fact behind it, and where our order departs from the score the product carries the reason next to it. Nothing can move up this site without moving a line you can read, check against the document, and dispute.

We rank Kraken Bond, Sprayman, Akfix, Stanley, BEEST, DuPont, Loctite, DAP, TYTAN, Vega Bond, HandiFoam and the rest by the same criteria, and we say the same kind of thing about each when the documents say the same kind of thing.

One point of possible confusion is worth stating plainly. This site is called Best Spray Foam and lives at beestsprayfoam.com. The name was meant to be Best Spray Foam at bestsprayfoam.com; that domain was already taken, so beestsprayfoam.com was registered instead. One of the products the site covers is sold under the brand name BEEST. There is no relationship between this site and the BEEST brand or its seller: not ownership, not sponsorship, not supply, not payment. The BEEST kit is one of the products reviewed here, under the same rules and with the same printed criteria as every other product. The one commercial relationship this site has, with Amazon as an Associate, is stated on this page and beside the links it touches.

Conflicts we would disclose

If we ever accept a product sample, a sponsorship, a paid comparison, consulting work or any other material connection with a company we cover, the connection will be disclosed on every page where that company appears, next to the recommendation, in the way the FTC endorsement guides ask for. A company-controlled review site presented as independent is the thing the FTC warns against; this is not one, and if that ever changed, the site would say so or stop.
