Plain terms for a research site: what you may do with the content, what we do not warrant, how outbound links and other people's marks are handled, and who publishes it.
Use of the content
You may read, link to and quote this site for personal, educational or journalistic purposes with attribution to Best Spray Foam and a link to the page. You may not republish whole pages, scrape the site for a competing product database, or present our findings as your own. Manufacturer documents stay the property of their publishers; we link to them where they are public and quote short passages for commentary and criticism.
No warranty
The site is provided as is. We make no warranty that any statement is complete, current or error-free, and we exclude, to the extent the law allows, any liability for loss arising from reliance on it. The disclaimer is part of these terms.
Outbound links
Links to Amazon, Walmart, brand stores, manufacturer documents, code bodies and our sister publication are provided for identification and verification. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, prices or availability. Links to Amazon product pages are affiliate links: as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases, and Ownership and conflicts says what that fee can and cannot change. Certain content that appears on this site comes from Amazon. This content is provided "as is" and is subject to change or removal at any time.
Trademarks
Brand and product names on this site belong to their owners and are used to identify the products under discussion. Their appearance does not imply endorsement of this site by any owner, or of any product by us.
Who publishes this
Best Spray Foam is published by an editorial team of people who work in the spray foam trade in the United States, the same team that publishes Spray Foam Guides. It is not published by a registered company: no legal entity has been formed for it yet. When one is registered, its legal name and a notice address for formal legal correspondence will be printed here, and the governing law for these terms will follow that entity’s jurisdiction. Until then those two items are not set, and this page says so rather than naming a placeholder.
Correspondence about this site goes to research@beestsprayfoam.com. It is a working address and it is read. It is not a registered address for legal service; a notice address for that purpose will be printed here when the publishing entity is registered.
Changes
We may change these terms; the effective date at the top of the page is the record. Continued use after a change is acceptance of it.
